Just for Fun & Flower Fields

I've definitely missed goofing around with my camera and photoshop. (PS I lost my photoshop when my hard drive was wiped and am currently using the 30 day trial. *tears forever*) Anyways, it was fun to go out with my old roommates and just shoot some pictures and mess around with the editing. needless to say this post is pretty pointless and there is no style to this in any way.
Now thesssee photos below are all taken on Andreas camera, some or most taken by her, I just edited them:) gotta give this talented lady credit where it is due!
Thanks for stopping by this random post!

Lovely Ladies

I'm gonna get back to blogging a little bit again. Don't I always say that though?
Let's catch up.
I wasn't in Rexburg this past fall but I did get to visit and stay with my lovely 210 Ladies! Today,I miss them a ton, so I thought I'd dedicate this post to them.
I have seriously been blessed to live with (and meet) some of the coolest ladies you will ever come across. Even my adopted roommates ( thats what I'll call you since technically I only crashed on your couch for like 2 weeks )and those who practically lived in 210 without actually living there ;)  Each one has taught me something and they're pretty hilarious. If you get the chance to meet them: you really should. You won't regret it. Here's to you ladies! I miss you so much- sorry I stalk you so much of Facebook…..but also…..
not sorry at all.
^^ Doing "the Bryndee" ^^
I can't believe I'm actually getting married and won't wake up to the sound of north gate construction,
nights of screaming at the bachelor, dance parties we basically go to just to stand around and watch bryndee dance, roommate dinner, "family time" on our computers,

late night Grey's marathons, heart to heart talks, getting locked out and scaring my roommates to death in the middle of the night, Winning the halloween compatition (twice, see below!), getting the scoop about the latest random guy who asked you out,

doing insanity (and failing…minus Trischelle), walking to church and climbing the creaky stairs in front of everyone when we're late,Chi Theta Kappa!, mcdonalds and applebees trips on a whim, Cassie's wheaties and maybe best of all roommate sleepovers in the living room. Endless kusco and decorating the apartment for Christmas. I love you all so much. I'll still call you my roommates for ever
PS. 210 holds the halloween trophy 2 years in a row now. Oh yes.
Chase and I accidentally stumbled upon the seven deadly sins idea, since I was visiting 210 that made & girls in the apartment. Each girl had a sin and a quote they said to fit with that sin. I quite enjoyed that. Hopefully 210 will hold the champs till the end;)

Stephanie + Trevor: Engaged!

I had the honor of taking engagement photos for my best friend Stephanie! I told her she would get married first so she owes me cookies ;)
It was so much fun to be able to take their pictures and get to know Trevor a little better. I can't believe one of my bestfriends for over 6 years is getting married next month!! The rest of the pictures will be on Facebook:)

Huntington Gardens:California Day 3

Yes yes, it is true. This is the day I got ENGAGED! But, I apologize in advance that I will not be posting the proposal story on this post. I'm waiting for the pictures, and then you will get ALLL the details :) But I will tell you the joys of the day! Chase and I went to the Huntington Library and Gardens. I was so excited because if y'all know me you know I LOVE flowers. They are my favorite thing in the whole world. It was so fun walking around the gardens, I want to go back again because the place is so massive that we didn't get to see the half of it.
This was in the Japanese Gardens! So beautiful. This is where chase was GOING to propose butttt I was messing with my camera not paying attention and the bridge was closed.
This was the bridge that chase was going to propose on IF I wasn't a pain, the bridge wasn't closed, and  there wasn't a random old guy standing next to us. Gorgeous, but the rose gardens are far more special to me :)
Look at all these Koi fish! so cool. I touched this one....IT.WAS.AWESOME. Fish have hard faces..just so you know. Chase is the koi whisperer.
I love that he loves animals too...because if he didn't I would not have said yes that day;) And this......
Is where he did propose! I have always wanted to be proposed to in a room full of flowers- the only thing that changed was the lack of the 4 walls. It was beautiful and amazing and chase had Krista as our secret photographer. I can't wait to get the pictures back this weekend! Other than the fact that I was sweaty and lookin a hot mess....well I wish a hot mess..more like a dumpy mess- but I got engaged so who cares!
My ring. I was so obsessed staring at it that day. Actually, I must confess I STILL look at it all the time everyday.
And the rest of the day was so wonderful. We got to spend the whole day together and enjoy being newly engaged. We had dinner at the cheesecake factory. Sat outside and it was warm and lovely
And on the way to the the movie theater there were fireworks. PERFECT.
We saw Despicable Me 2 which was freakishly hilarious and then left the theater super tired, sluggish and freakishly happy. Could not have asked for a better day with my fiancé!
PS check back here I will post a link to the proposal story with pictures! :)

The Beauty of Disposable Cameras

Guys...I just want to tell you something. I love pictures. In case you didn't know that already...There's something about the fuzzy quality and the mystery of what the pictures will look like that has a sweet nostalgia.
What I don't like so much is that on a normal camera that I would use (a DSLR) i typically have the flash OFF. I'm not a fan of the flash, but apparently the 90's was farther away than I remembered and I forgot you need to use a flash on a disposable camera.
So these are some pictures that I love...
And then some that did not turn out so well...
Lesson learned....I could still use another camera. Apparently the love affair continues
