My Best Friends Wedding

That sounds like a movie title huh?! I bet it is. I never watch movies so I wouldn't know… SO one of my very best friends in the whole world got married in August! And now you're thinking " I knew you said you sucked at blogging, but really? that as like 4 months ago." It's true, I really do suck at this. It would be a lot easier if I didn't have to edit the pictures first but how could I even do that…..I couldn't. Thats the answer.

My parents bought me a ticket to go to Dallas in August (Thank you!) and I was able to see my BFF since 8th grade married to her love. (yeah, I said BFF. Deal wit it.) It was fantastic, and fun and over 100 degrees. yayyyyy Texas in August. I was sweating bullets before 11 am.
^^ These are my best friends (and Stephs hubby in the back). The cutest, huh? ^^

So I always think I have to show pictures in chronological order but then I remember, "Hey! This is my blog! I do what I want!" and then I proceeded to do what I want.
(that being said….here is one of the first pictures from the day anyways…)
^^ This is what 100 some degrees at 11:30 am looks like. It's attractive, obviously. ^^
^^ The lovely Dallas Temple! ^^
^^we actually look just like this quite often. I never know what I must have said ^^
Yay we've hit reception photos! Apparently I won't let myself go too far out of chronological order.
^^ Trevor and Stephanie's Dad-aroos ^^
It was a super hot day, but sunny and beautiful- typical Texas ;) I can't believe my best friend got married already and I could not be more happy for her! I loved being able to go visit her and Trevor in their new apartment in Rexburg the time I was visiting. Sometimes it seems surreal.
We couldn't wait to get into Young Womens. We couldn't wait to go to stake dances. We couldn't wait to have boyfriends, to turn 16, to start driving. We'd all walk to Kroger, and we'd decorate our walls, and we'd have a triangle of trust. Stephanie and I cried on a bed together when we decided what to do for college, and how plans don't go the way you see them going but it turns out for the best anyways.
It's been the three of us, and It will be till we're old and wrinkly. I know God placed me with these ladies for a reason, and I am always grateful. Stephanie has made my life better in so many ways and even though Trevor is her best friend now, she'll always have her girls. It's Ken+Joe+Steve forever, right? I love you Steph!

Reasons NOT to cut your own bangs and Easter Sunday

So two years ago I had Easter with my the Borg Family, last year in Provo with Mckenzie and this year in Rexburg, Idaho! Luckily, It was beautiful out that day.Minus the fact that I now have bangs....which I explain and the bottom of the post.
Had a lovely day at church with these ladies! My roommies are beautiful! and weird...
This is Bryndee just being Bryndee. She was 19 so we let it go...
And Adri just being Adri....but she's NOT 19 yet so we let that go too.. ;)
We spent the rest of the day making easter dinner and spending time in porter park playing frisbee. It was a beautiful day and I have to say I have never been a huge fan of Easter before but It has grown on me a lot more because I'm grateful for my Savior.

So I've avoided the subject but you may (or may not which would be nice) have noticed I now have bangs. Believe it or not I've rocked the bangs before...as a 1st grader...
(Thats me in the red with my posse. We're all stylin)
So yes I've reverted back to being 6.Earlier in the day I felt restless and cut little bylittle.
Roommates didn't seem to notice so I felt pretty satisfied. I looked at my beauty board on pinterest and got terrible ideas (pinterest can be dangerous).
Here's something my roommates and I have learned from this. DON'T LEAVE JOVANNA HOME ALONE. Three roommates were out of town, Chase was working all day and then Adri, Spencer and Claire went to the store and left me home alone.
For 20 minutes. With scissors.
I pulled my hair straight out and chopped. Then I held it in my hand and thought "WHAT.DID.I.JUST. DO".
I heard Claire, Spencer and Adri get home and I tried to hide my face. I turned around and claire, in the first 2 seconds, said
"Did you get your bangs cut...?"
"what..? Yeah.....maybe. BUT YOU GUYS LEFT ME HOME ALONE...WITH SCISSORS!"

Really not the best rebutal I've ever had...
Then Chase came home....and I showed him. And he liked it.
(he's kinda weird but thats ok)
Here are some reasons why cutting your own bangs is a BAD idea
#1: you will miss your hair. Seriously. It's like a bestfriend you took for granted till
        they're gone
#2: you may feel like you're 5 again.(if you've had bangs in the past) this is fun for you for about 2 minutes and then you want to go back to being an adult
#3: the bangs are uneven, and you look like a drunk donkey
#4: the "I can keep cutting" syndrome. you'll know you're in it when you feel a small rush
of excitement followed by sheer anguish and then need to cut more to fix it
#5: If you live in a very windy area like Rexburg, they will go freaking everywhere when
you're walking around outside, you can't see and now you've gone from sexy hair        blowing in the wind to lady walking around holding her forehead.
#6: everyone and their brother will mention your hair cut. whether they like it, or not.

So take it from me, don't impulsively cut your bangs on a day when you're feeling ambitious

Devo and a Claire Visit

Would anyone like to know what Devo is? We here at BYU-I decided that full words take too much time to say so we shortened devotional to devo. Basically the shut everything down Tuesdays at 2 pm so we can listen to speakers and be uplifted spiritually. We are reminded of the love God has for us. It's pretty cool
Check it ------> DEVO!
Claire my first roommate also came to visit. (mostly visit her fiance Spencer but i know deep down she wanted to see me too.... )
Here's some fun pictures of people I love. Sorry I don't have much to say. I'm kinda lame when it comes to writing.
This is my gorgeous friend Mikyla. She's super sweet and funny. nuff said.
This is Chase and I think he's pretty cute. But hey, you didn't hear that from me
These are my roomates! Claire and Nicole- goobers, both of em, but you gotta love it.
And of course my bestie, Stephanie!
And now here are just some random pictures. enjoy:) It was great having claire here- the weird voice made a return and i cant wait to room with her again this winter!
Always have Happy Tuesdays friends!

The Falls Weekend

Guys, seriously I love Idaho but there's pretty much nothingggg to do here. I'm not kidding you..but we find somethings to do and one is go to Idaho Falls, the biggest town for miles around. Went for sushi. I'm not good at eating sushi..just in case you were wondering. I'm like a defective toddler with chopsticks, so while everyone else is busy being a normal functioning adult I'm eating sushi with my hands. Its quite sad really.
Saw a dude movie....I'm also not a dude but hey, you gotta branch out from romantic comedies every once in a while...right? Right. That's what I'm telling myself. Fro-Yo at kiwi loco though...thats my jam. I'm pretty good at eating sweets, ask anyone. Plus Charles, Lauren and Chase are a blast and hold off on their desire to kick my face in everytime I pull out the camera. Sweethearts.
Same weekend I got to visit my lovely roommates of last semester Heather and Michelle
I Miss these girls like crazy and I heard some crazy stories. You'd be surprised what can happen over a 7 week break..
ANNNDDD my room- roommate paola. what a sweetheart, miss her cute little voice.
To top it all off egg rolls for sunday dinner. So yeah, there's not much to do in Idaho but I'm super blessed to have the friends I do and be going to this school. I love it.
Sorry for the picture overload....but who am I kidding, people dont read this they just look at the pictures anyways. :) PS- my sweet roommate Cassie wasn't feeling well and before she went home she made us these cookies. Can I just say THAT is a christlike woman right there. She's such a fighter and always has a smile on her face. AMAZING.
